Porsche already has the successful Cayman and Cayman GTS but the German automaker is now releasing an even more powerful version of the mid-engine sports car called the Cayman GT4. The Porsche Cayman GT4 will be powered by a down-graded version of the 3.8-liter flat-six engine which can be found in the Porsche Carrera S. The engine in the Cayman GT4 will put 385hp instead of the 395hp in the Carrera S.
Power will be delivered via a six-speed manual transmission allowing the car to reach 60mph in 4.2 seconds while capable of achieving a top speed of 183 mph. The Cayman GT4 features a newly designed front bumper with large air intakes and a lip spoiler. The hood is also redesigned on the vehicle and it also gains a large fixed rear spoiler.
The 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 will make its official debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and is expected to hit the showroom floors July of this year with a starting price of $84,600 in the US and a much higher starting price of €85,779 ($97,307 US) in Germany.
